The wildwildsky app is a platform for the discovery of geolocative songs, specifically in nature settings, by wildwildsky and other artists. Start by looking for songs nearby your location. From the map you can browse and search for songs in different locations. The closest ones will always show first. When you've found something you like the sound of and made the journey to that location, you can don your headphones and hit 'start'. This will stream the song on your mobile connection, so if you want to save your data, download the walk first.
The songs can only be heard in the locations they are placed, they cannot be streamed from another location (e.g. from your home). After you've started the song, you can see your current position as the blue dot. Entering an 'song' (zone on the map) will trigger that content, and the zone will highlight on the map.
Tapping on a song on the map will bring up more info, or you can switch to the song list view using the button at the top right. To best experience wildwildsky, try planning your route carefully, downloading the audio while you have signal, and then putting your phone in your pocket for a more immersive listening experience.
